Terms and Conditions

In effect from 16 October 2026 · version 1

These terms govern our relationship with everyone who uses the Website or Studio. By registering or using the service, you accept them.

1.The basics

  • The service is provided by the operator named in the Imprint, where its contact details are too. You may write to us in Hungarian, and in English on matters for authorities and under the DSA.
  • The Glossary at the end of this document explains the capitalised terms.

2.Opening and using an account

  • Anyone over 18 with full legal capacity, or entitled to act for a business, may open an account. Registering concludes a contract of indefinite duration.
  • You may register with an email address and password, or with an existing account: Google, Facebook, Microsoft or Apple.
  • An account belongs to a private person or to a dealer. One sign-in may give access to several accounts — for example, when someone works for a dealer.
  • It is up to you to keep your details accurate and current and your sign-in details secret. If someone else uses your account, please tell us at once.
  • To prevent abuse we may refuse, without giving reasons, registrations from certain email domains or networks.

3.What the service offers

As a buyer you can search and filter the listings, compare them, save favourites and searches — and ask for email alerts on new matches for the latter —, follow dealers, and message the seller from the listing page.

As a seller you create and manage your listings in Studio (pause, resume, mark as sold, delete), receive the enquiries there, and order featuring, which shows a listing in prominent places on the Website. Dealers have a public seller page; a private seller may switch one on.

We may extend, change or withdraw features; when this affects users significantly, we announce it in advance.

4.Posting a listing

  • Each listing is about exactly one vehicle, and only its owner or someone the owner has authorised may post it.
  • The seller is responsible for what the listing says — technical data, condition, mileage, price, photos. Details that identify another person may only be included with that person’s permission.
  • Upload only pictures you are entitled to use. We place a watermark on the pictures.
  • You can follow a listing’s path in Studio: draft → awaiting review → live; later it may be paused, expired, sold, rejected or deleted.
  • Once the car has changed hands, mark the listing as sold or delete it.

5.What we do not allow

A listing may not contain:

  • a stolen vehicle, or one unlawfully withdrawn from traffic;
  • untrue details or a misleading price;
  • a repeat listing of the same vehicle, or the sale of something that is not a vehicle;
  • a fraudulent request for a deposit or a “delivery fee”.

Using the service, it is also forbidden to: download or copy content in bulk with a bot or other automated tool; get around technical protection or remove the watermark; send unsolicited, repeated or misleading messages, or use messaging to advertise other products or services; use a false account or one opened in someone else’s name, or get around limits with several accounts. Ordinary indexing by search engines and downloading your own data are allowed.

6.Packages, featuring and fees

  • Your package sets how many listings can be live at once, how many pictures each listing can have and — for a dealer — how many team members have access. Studio shows your current allowance.
  • Everyone — private sellers and dealers alike — starts on a free package.
  • Studio shows the price and terms of a paid package or featuring clearly before you order; you pay only for what you order after that.
  • If a package’s allowance later shrinks, your live listings and uploaded pictures stay; the change only applies to listings and uploads made afterwards.

7.If you advertise as a dealer

  • A dealer may advertise only with a dealer account; the name, location and logo on its seller page are public.
  • The dealer is responsible for its team members using the account only within the permissions given to them.
  • Results follow the sort order the visitor picks (for example newest first, by price). Featured listings are shown separately, with a “Featured” label.

8.Review, reports and appeals

  • Anyone may tell us that a listing infringes rights or goes against these terms. We look into the report and tell the reporter what we decided.
  • We may review listings before and after publication. If we reject or remove one, we tell the seller why.
  • You may contest the decision by email; a member of our team then looks at it again.
  • We have no general duty to monitor, but when we learn of an infringement we act without delay.

9.Liability

  • We provide the venue for listings. We are not a party to the contract between seller and buyer, and are not liable for a listing’s content, a vehicle’s condition or how the parties behave.
  • We aim to keep the Website available at all times, but maintenance or a fault may take it down for a while.
  • When buying from a private person, most consumer protection rules do not apply. See the car in person and never pay a deposit unseen; you will find more advice on the Selling tips page.

10.Closing the account

  • You can deactivate or delete your account yourself at any time on the Settings page in Studio; you may also ask for the deletion by email.
  • We may end the contract with 15 days’ notice; for serious or repeated breaches we may suspend or close the account at once.
  • Where fraud is suspected, we cooperate with the authorities as the law requires.

11.Intellectual property

The Website, Studio, the autotrade360 name and logo and the listing database are our intellectual property. When you publish a listing, you allow us, free of charge and non-exclusively, to show and promote its content on the Website — for as long as the listing exists.

12.Complaints and remedies

Send your complaint by email. We answer in writing, with reasons, within thirty days, and keep the complaint and the answer for three years. As a consumer you may also turn to the conciliation body, the consumer protection authority or a court. If the complaint concerns your personal data, the routes described in the Privacy notice are open as well.

13.Changes and governing law

  • We publish changes to these terms at least 15 days before they take effect. A shorter period is enough when a change favours you or the law requires it. If you do not agree, you may ask for your account to be deleted before the change takes effect.
  • Matters these terms do not settle are governed by Hungarian law — chiefly the Civil Code, the Act on electronic commerce, the consumer protection rules and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA).
  • If a provision proves invalid, the rest remain in force. In a dispute we first seek to settle it by talking.
